MathAerodrome — Mobile Application
Distributed via Google Play Store
MathAerodrome ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application developed and operated by an individual developer based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The App is intended to provide users with an educational mathematics experience.
This Privacy Policy explains how MathAerodrome handles information in connection with your use of the App, and describes your rights under applicable law, including:
This policy applies to the App as distributed via the Google Play Store and any associated services.
Specifically, the App does not collect:
The App does not require account registration or user authentication of any kind.
While the App itself does not collect personal data, your device's operating system and the Google Play platform may collect certain technical data automatically as part of standard app operation (e.g., crash reports, device type, OS version). This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The App uses Invisible reCAPTCHA provided by Google. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information — such as device and application data — and send it to Google for the purpose of providing and improving the reCAPTCHA service and for general security purposes. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Because MathAerodrome does not collect personal information, there is no personal data processed by us for any purpose.
The Invisible reCAPTCHA integration is used solely for security and fraud prevention purposes — specifically, to distinguish human users from automated bots. No personal data resulting from reCAPTCHA processing is used by us for marketing, profiling, or any other secondary purpose.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share personal information with third parties, as we do not collect personal information in the first place.
The only third-party data processing that occurs in connection with the App is through Google's reCAPTCHA service, as described in Section 5 below.
The App integrates Google Invisible reCAPTCHA to help protect the App from automated abuse. When reCAPTCHA is active, Google may collect information about your interactions with the App for security analysis purposes.
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google may collect data related to app installation, usage statistics, and crash diagnostics in accordance with their own policies. This data collection is outside our control and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
As MathAerodrome does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, we have no personal data to retain or delete.
Any data processed locally on your device (such as app preferences or progress data stored on-device) remains on your device and is subject to your device's own storage management. You may clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data through your device settings.
For data processed by third-party services such as Google reCAPTCHA, retention is governed by Google's own data retention policies.
We take the security of our application seriously. Although we do not collect or transmit personal data, we implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. These measures include:
As a developer based in Germany, we are subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because MathAerodrome does not collect personal data, most GDPR data subject rights are not directly applicable. However, you have the right to:
Request confirmation as to whether we process any personal data about you.
Request deletion of any personal data we hold about you.
Object to any processing of personal data.
Lodge a complaint with the LfDI Baden-Württemberg supervisory authority.
The legal basis for the minimal data processing that occurs (reCAPTCHA) is our legitimate interest in protecting the App and its users from automated abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA:
Request information about categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you.
Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Because MathAerodrome does not collect personal information, there is currently no personal data to access, delete, or correct. To submit a privacy request, contact us using the details in Section 13.
MathAerodrome does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not target children under 13 as its primary audience, and we do not use the App to solicit information from children.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the address provided in Section 13, and we will take appropriate steps to address the matter.
For users in the European Union, the relevant age threshold under GDPR may differ by member state (typically 13–16 years). Because the App collects no personal data, parental consent requirements under COPPA or GDPR provisions on children's data are not applicable to the App's core functionality.
MathAerodrome is operated by an individual based in Germany. The App does not transfer personal data to servers outside the European Economic Area (EEA) operated by us.
However, third-party services used within the App — specifically Google reCAPTCHA — may transfer and process data in the United States or other countries. Google provides appropriate safeguards for such transfers in accordance with applicable law, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. For details, refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
MathAerodrome does not require users to create an account, and therefore no account deletion process is applicable.
If you wish to remove all App-related data from your device, you may do so by following these steps:
This will remove all locally stored App data from your device.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users, such as by updating the App's store listing description.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, you may contact us by email. We will respond to privacy-related inquiries within a reasonable timeframe, and in any case within 30 days as required under GDPR.
